Mechanical compaction of coking coal for carbonization in stamp-charging coke oven batteries

The coal cake density plays an a very important role for the coke strength and mechanical strength. There  are  possibilities  to influence these parameters in industrial conditions with mechanical treatment ( parzial briquetting or stamping).
It must be also considered that the stamp technology find a renewed interest both in Asia then in  Europe.
